Yeah, I know how that can be.

I think about Hydra a lot. That if I'd realized that SHIELD wasn't supposed to be so messed up, I could have said something. Maybe stopped them before all that happened.

[So, yes: she gets thinking about choices and feeling like you've made the wrong ones. And that's not even touching Bucky.]

I have nightmares. A lot.

No one knew about Shield. It had everyone fooled because we all wanted to believe in what it's supposed to stand for.

It's not your fault. You couldn't have known.

[ She could absolve others but not herself. But she took more onto her shoulders so no one else needed to. ]

Not a lot to do there but to try to forgive yourself.
